Introduction to TQM
About Lesson

Continuous improvement is an ongoing effort to improve processes, products, and services. Continuous improvement involves a systematic approach to identifying opportunities for improvement, making changes to improve performance, and measuring the results of those changes.

Continuous improvement is an important part of many quality management systems, including Total Quality Management (TQM) and Lean Six Sigma. By continuously improving processes, organizations can reduce costs, improve quality, and increase customer satisfaction.

Continuous improvement typically involves several steps, including identifying opportunities for improvement, developing and implementing solutions, monitoring and measuring the results, and continuously iterating the process to make further improvements. Continuous improvement can be applied to all areas of an organization, including processes, products, and services.
